Why Become a Sebtus Guardian

Guardian families raise one of our breeding-quality dogs as their own from puppyhood. You get:

  • Very low or no upfront cost

  • A top-quality poodle

  • All breeding-related expenses covered

  • The dog becomes yours after the agreement is fulfilled

  • Direct support from an experienced breeder

You provide:

  • A stable, loving home

  • Regular vet care and grooming

  • Communication when needed

  • Availability for breeding (if female) or occasional stud work (if male)

  • Safe care during pregnancy with the breeder. You are welcome to be involved in this process as much as you like

Why We Use Guardian Homes

Poodles thrive in homes, not kennels. This model keeps numbers small, well-managed, and ethically raised.

Process

  1. Complete the guardian application

  2. Meet-and-greet with dog or puppy

  3. Contract review

  4. Placement

  5. Regular updates and health checks

  6. Dog returns for mating/whelping when needed

  7. After agreed litters, ownership transfers

GIOVANNI

Giovanni represents the future we are carefully building at Sebtus — thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in genuine care for the miniature poodle breed. He is a delightful mature puppy with a warm nature, quiet confidence, and a personality that draws people in without trying.

This special boy is ready to join a guardian adoption family who values stability, kindness, and shared purpose. Giovanni thrives in a home where he is part of daily life, forming real bonds and growing into the dog he is meant to be, while also contributing to the long-term improvement and preservation of the miniature poodle breed in Australia.

Our guardianship approach is built on respect — for the dog, the family, and the future of the breed. Giovanni offers not just companionship, but the chance to be part of something meaningful, transparent, and deeply considered.

Tatiana

Tatiana is a stunning Standard Poodle with a heart as generous as her beautiful curls. Rising four years old, she has already lived a life full of purpose, connection, and quiet impact. She joined our Sebtus Wellness programs, where her natural patience and emotional awareness shone through while spending time alongside young people with ASD and ADHD. Her calm presence, gentleness, and ability to simply sit with someone made her a grounding and reassuring companion.

Tatiana was placed in a guardian home where a strong and loving bond was formed, particularly with the wife of the household. Due to personal health challenges within the family, the environment became understandably stressful, and with care for both Tatiana and the family, the decision was made for her to return home. Their parting was filled with sadness, affection, and gratitude — a reflection of the deep connection they shared and the kind of dog Tatiana truly is.

She has had one beautiful litter, raising sound, friendly puppies who have gone on to be treasured family members, with one even finding a home overseas. Her nurturing nature extends far beyond motherhood. Tatiana is a true family dog at heart, emotionally intuitive and deeply loyal.

Fully health tested and carrying the proud yet playful spirit the Poodle breed is loved for, Tatiana is now ready for a stable, forever home where she can settle, belong, and be cherished. She represents everything we stand for at Sebtus — ethical care, honesty, and dogs raised with purpose, respect, and heart.

Vegas 

Vegas is a rising four-year-old Standard Poodle with a calm, thoughtful presence and a quietly expressive soul. She carries herself with a gentle reserve, yet those who spend time with her quickly notice how much she communicates through her eyes and body language rather than noise. She is not a yappy dog — instead, she offers steadiness, awareness, and composure.

Within our Sebtus Wellness programs, Vegas works closely with young people aged 13 to 17 with disabilities, patiently supporting them as they learn grooming skills. She is reliable on lead, tolerant, and deeply respectful of personal space, making her a beautiful teacher in environments that require trust and consistency.

While calm by nature, Vegas has a playful side that emerges when she feels safe — a little tomboy at heart who enjoys a good romp when the moment is right. She adapts easily to new environments, people, and a wide range of dogs, and she thrives on outdoor adventures, from beach walks to bush trails.

As a small, intentional program, we have not yet bred Vegas. We are hopeful that the coming year may open that door if the timing and circumstances align. Vegas reflects our approach at Sebtus — patient, considered, and grounded in respect for the dog first.
